La Bouquiniste left the banks of the Seine for the embrace of the Tagus. She collects old books, stacking them in higher and higher piles in her attic in Lisbon, city of Saints, Dreamers and Poets. From the most beautiful ones, images are selected and given new life as pretty ornaments for lovely girls, gorgeous buttons for poet types, and intriguing bookmarks for bookish ladies and gentlemen.

All the adornments are lovingly made by hand by Ms. Vanda, in her studio in the oldest part of the City - to reach it, you'd have to climb through cobblestone sidewalks, past the Cathedral which used to be a Mosque, which used to be a Roman temple, which used to be a Phoenician temple to the Goddess Cybelle, and around the Church erected on the birthplace of St. Anthony, a Saint of Love. The pendants are made with recycled metal, resin, beautiful images, antique goldplated chains, and the sound of Church bells and tram bells, sunshine, a view of the Tagus, and the scent of geraniums in the terrace.
